The ceremony day, hour by hour
Most farewell days begin around seven in the morning. By then the refrigeration unit is already standing in the hall or in the home, having run through the night without interruption at a steady temperature. By nine the coffin, flowers and candles are in place and the first visitors arrive.
Through the late morning the visiting continues on its own and our attendant simply keeps an eye on the equipment. The departure time is fixed in advance: the coffin is carried out, the hearse waits at the entrance, and the procession leaves for the cemetery. The unit is switched off and removed at that point.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the unit stay on the ceremony day?
The unit runs until the farewell is over and is switched off only when the coffin is about to be carried out. If the ceremony runs late or is moved to another hour, the equipment stays where it is and the family changes nothing.
When should we call if the farewell is tomorrow?
Call as soon as you know, at any hour of the night. Delivery is usually set for the evening before or early the next morning, so the unit is in place before the first visitors. Tell us the address, the floor and whether there is a lift.
What do the hearse and transport cost on the day?
Transport within the city starts at 150 GEL, and travel elsewhere in Georgia from 2.5 GEL per kilometre. A Mercedes-Benz hearse starts at 150 GEL and the Maybach is 1500 GEL. The basic funeral package is 850 GEL; a full package is quoted individually.
